Snake Oil

Super Sundays

Man, Snake Oil is just a small part of the great stuff happening on Sunday afternoons at WBRO...in the future this will be it's own website detailing everyone's exploits, but for now my small descriptions will have to do...check out some pictures at the bottom of the page as well...

The One, The Only, Johnny One Note kicks things off at 2 and keeps it rolling until 5 with the Johnny One Note Show. A mixture of Classical tunes and beats and Johnny's commentary, this has to be heard to be belived. I love it and I know you will too. Boys and girls, they simply don't make radio like this anywhere else on Earth. Johnny is the man

My own Snake Oil runs from 5-6 and features a mix of Alt Country, Folk, Bluegrass and Roots rock.

The Lovely and Talented Ms. Maria takes the globe for a spin on Harmony From The Soul, 6-7. Each week she'll take you down the street or across the globe to a different place or time...not only the music, but that culture's history, and if you are lucky, recipies to enjoy later.

Carson's beloved Starlight Bluegrass and Beyond runs from 7-9, and sometimes features Maria, her husband Dave and myself sitting in with him as he runs 2 hours of your bluegrass requests and chats it up on air. Never heard a bluegrass talk show? You've never listened from 7-9. Check out the insanity sometime...you'll be glad you did. Carson also features live music sometimes, and his shows are always second to none.

Sounds Neglected caps off the night with Kenny and Lisa as they mix together an eclectic blend of sounds perfect for winding down the weekend from 9-11.
